Reporting to: Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities ● Lead to implement and maintain company HSE management system to comply with ISO14001& ISO45001 & ISO 50001 & safety standardization. ● Identify, assess and implement the related HSE laws and regulations, and keep effective communication with government. ● Collaborate with supported functions and business partners to drive HSE performance. ● Facilitates HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented. ● Provide analysis of HSE data. Report the progress of key performance indicators (KPI) as required. ● Organize and support the HSE incidents’ investigation with supported departments and reports to the management and relevant stakeholders and takes appropriate actions. ● Assists the management team in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements. ● Organize and implement the annual HSE training & work plan. ● Implement safety inspection/audit plan and make sure all findings can be timely closed. ● Organize, implement and improve the emergency reaction plan. ● Monitor and improve contractor safety management according to applicable HSE requirements. ● Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. ● Drive behavioral change through implementing safety improvement activities to establish excellent safety culture. ● Complete the global HSE standards and/or requirements localization and transformation. ● Other issues assigned by manager. License to operate / core values: ● Implements ABB policies and standards in their assigned area. ● Drives and ensures compliance with group management systems. ● Draws on worker(s)' expertise and insights to gain a deeper understanding of actual work processes, enabling continuous improvement of systems and controls. Qualifications for the role ● A Bachelor’s degree in relative Safety engineering. ● 3-5 years of HSE management experience in manufacturing or project site. ● Good understanding on ISO14001 and ISO 45001 standard, methodology and tools. ● Familiar with Chinese safety and environment laws and policies. ● Familiar with electrical and machinery safety standards. ● Certified Safety Engineer is preferred. ● Good oral and written English ability. ● A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
