About the Role:

In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing transformation of our HR services, delivering both core and extended HR solutions to support business needs. You will work closely with the HR Services (HRS) team in shaping a high-performance HR blueprint focused on service excellence, business value creation, digitalization, and enhanced customer experience.
This position is based in the Sandvik China HR Services Center and may support multiple Sandvik divisions in China. You will play an important role in advancing the transformation of our HR services across the entire employee life cycle from recruitment to exit, including HR functional topics i.e. employment relations, employee experience, talent acquisition, and continuous improvement projects aimed at driving efficiency, performance, digitalization, and customer-centricity.
You will be involved in both operational delivery and HRS projects, ensuring high-quality day-to-day HR delivery while contributing to broader HR transformation initiatives locally/globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of both standard and extended HR services across the employee lifecycle
Collaborate with HR colleagues within HRS, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and business HR teams to secure alignment and execution
Assist in developing a systematic service evaluation framework to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and exceptional customer experience
Lead and support project-based activities, including planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up of HR transformation initiatives
Provide multiple HR functional support to business needs, including employee relations, talent acquisition, HR processes & policies, service KPIs, and HR systems
Handle employee relations matters (e.g. individual performance management cases, termination/redundancy processes)
Coordinating in talent acquisition area at country level, including agency management and best practice sharing
About You:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with 8 years of generalist experience, including at least 3 years in a business-facing HR role with expertise in employment relations and/or talent acquisition. Prior experience as part of an in-house business HR team is a plus.
You should be comfortable handling complex people-related issues, demonstrating sound problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to deliver on time, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a structured approach to work is essential.
In addition to solid HR expertise, you should be a collaborative team player with a passion for driving change and continuous improvement. You will act as a project coordinator, facilitating alignment across stakeholders to develop effective solutions in support of business success.

Requirements:
8+ years of HR generalist experience, with at least 3 years in a business-oriented HR role (employment relations, talent acquisition preferred)
Experience working within a business HR team is advantageous
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills; able to manage complex employee relations matters
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and systems
Excellent planning and organizational skills with a structured approach to work
A team player who thrives in cross-functional and international settings
Language & Location:
English is the working language (both verbal and written)
Based in Beijing office, occasional business travel may be required (up to once per quarter on average)
Remote collaboration with HR stakeholders, managers, and employees across China and globally will be facilitated through digital tools
