Welcome to Legal Department-Trademark Team
Legal Department is a group of experienced in-house counsels that works globally (mainly based in China, Denmark and USA). Our purpose is to assist our organization navigating a complex international business environment in a safe and efficient manner by giving timely practical legal advice.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
● You will assist to review and collect data, documentation and materials relating to use of trademarks, logos and etc internally and externally.
● You will assist in handling our trademark portfolio in China, including trademark filings, clearance searches, recordkeeping and etc.
● You will assist with trademark licensing as well as trademark enforcement actions (such as online brand protection, demand letters and etc).
● You will have the opportunity to provide guidance and support to business in TM related matters, including advising on correct trademark use.
● You will assist in doing legal research related to trademark licensing, enforcement, litigation matters etc.
● You will assist in translating and maintaining legal support materials.
To succeed you must hold:
● You must have a bachelor of law degree or be pursuing a master degree in law.
● It is important that you can quickly learn to digest complex written materials and communicate key issues in a simple and precise manner to our internal stakeholders.
● Solid language skills in both English and Chinese are required.
● A second foreign language competence is preferable
● Prior related job experience (e.g., internship with law firms in the area of trademark or soft-IP rights) is preferable but not a must.
● Competency in using digital tools in legal works is a nice plus.
