Job Profile: Engineering > General Engineering
JOB SUMMARY
Designs, fabricates, modifies, evaluates and documents molded assemblies, components, and systems to produce or improve company products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Develops data and makes preliminary sketches, lay-outs and notes required to present design proposals. Researches basic design factors such as ease of manufacture and availability of materials and equipment. Works with other organizations impacted by design development.
May perform work in a specific sub-specialty such as Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Mold Design, or Tooling. Please see addendum for specific sub-specialty requirements. This description is designed to capture the general elements of Engineering work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Leads design and development of complex plastic molded sub-assemblies, components, and packaging.
61 Leads development and implementation of changes to product design and/or the manufacturing process to achieve efficiency, quality, and/or cost improvements.
61 Develops requirement specifications, system concepts, CAD generated machine layouts, detail drawings, BOM’s and budgets. Makes layouts of complex assemblies and details of parts of devices, mechanisms and structures.
61 Leads customer product design engineering for economic production and serves as technical interface with customers as designated.
61 Assesses proper material, tooling, automation and equipment selection.
61 Works with manufacturing to trouble-shoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups, methods development, and the development of process parameters.
61 May lead product development meetings and makes recommendations to product design changes to enhance manufacturing and assembly.
61 Conduct proof of concept experiments and design other testing requirements as needed.
61 Develop SOP’s, operations and maintenance manuals.
61 Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
61 Thorough understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools, projects and processes and ability to incorporate these into assigned engineering projects.
61 Lead role in small or large project, as assigned. Reviews completed projects for accuracy, clarity and completeness.
61 Ensures projects are compliant with all local, regional, and national regulatory requirements, codes and controls.
61 Supports all company safety and quality programs initiatives.
61 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Engineering Addendum
Automation
Technical responsibility for design and development of automation requirement specification and systems concepts and installs automation and transfer automation programs to production in a smooth and timely manner.
CAD/CAE
Technical responsibility for design and production of 2D and 3D representations of plastic injection molded assemblies, components, packaging and products.
Mechanical
Technical responsibility for a variety of engineering work in planning and design of products, tools, engines, machines and other mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes; oversees production, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of such equipment.
Materials
Technical responsibility for the manipulation of the molecular structure of substances used to create new material for use in products, specifically working with plastics or composites that meet certain mechanical, chemical and electrical requirements. Responsible for determining test and performance requirements. Develops test methodologies and procedures and tests materials as required.
Mold Design
Technical responsibility for the design and development of molds used to produce plastic assemblies, components and packaging involving environmental, mechanical and thermal limitations. May design and build prototypes. May conduct mold qualifications and validations on new molds using various experiments. Involves robust knowledge of scientific molding methodologies.
Packaging
Technical responsibility for the design and development of packing materials, shipping containers, etc., for attractive and safe shipping of products under varying conditions of climate and environment, and differing modes of transportation, using lubricants, protective material, and other methods as required
Tooling
Technical responsibility for designing a broad range of tools, including cutting and forming tools; designs jigs, dies, and fixtures for production or experimental use; resolves design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures and processes and costs. Applies standard mathematical formulas and standard tool engineering data to develop tool configuration and selects standard items for incorporation into tool design. Draws preliminary sketches and prepares layout and detail drawings. Modifies tool designs according to test or production service data to improve tool life or performance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Understands processes and has a basic understanding of various manufacturing techniques
- Strong knowledge of engineering theories, design principles and practices, and design evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
AI Vision engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1. responsible for deep learning vision algorithm development, model optimization and debugging, machine vision product software development.
2. Design and develop new vision algorithms according to project requirements, responsible for the realization and optimization of core algorithms in machine vision field.
3. Responsible for the implementation, data collection, testing and verification, debugging of machine vision projects in the customer's location.
4. Complete visual software development, engineering and optimization iteration on projects, products and solutions.
5. Responsible for the preparation and update of relevant technical documents.
6. Complete the work and tasks assigned by superiors and other leaders.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, computer, image processing, deep learning, artificial intelligence and other fields, engaged in cv algorithm develop for more than 3 years.
2. proficient in c++/c#/Python, have a basic theoretical foundation of algorithms, proficient in image processing basic knowledge and related algorithms library (Opencv, Halcon).
3. Familiar with common deep learning models (object detection, image segmentation, object classification, OCR, etc.)
4. Master at least one deep learning framework (e.g. pytorch, PaddlePaddle).
5. unsupervised learning, zero sample learning, ViT, defect detection, character recognition and other related experience is preferred.
6. Experience in deep learning visual inspection projects in industrial field is preferred.

3、負(fù)責(zé)機(jī)器視覺(jué)項(xiàng)目在客戶現(xiàn)地的實(shí)施、數(shù)據(jù)采集、測(cè)試驗(yàn)證、及調(diào)試工作。
4、完成項(xiàng)目、產(chǎn)品及解決方案上的視覺(jué)軟件法開(kāi)發(fā)、工程化及優(yōu)化迭代。
5、負(fù)責(zé)相關(guān)技術(shù)文檔的編制更新
6、完成上級(jí)及其他領(lǐng)導(dǎo)交代的工作及任務(wù)。
任職要求:
1、本科及以上學(xué)歷,計(jì)算機(jī)、圖像處理、深度學(xué)習(xí)、人工智能等方向,從事圖像算法3年以上。
2、精通c++/c#/Python之一,有較強(qiáng)的算法理論基礎(chǔ),熟練掌握?qǐng)D像處理基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)及相關(guān)算法庫(kù)(Opencv,Halcon)。
3、熟悉深度學(xué)習(xí)常見(jiàn)模型(目標(biāo)檢測(cè)、圖像分割物件分類、OCR等)。
4、掌握至少一種深度學(xué)習(xí)框架(如pytorch,PaddlePaddle)。
5、有非監(jiān)督式學(xué)習(xí)、零樣本學(xué)習(xí)、ViT、缺陷檢測(cè),字符識(shí)別等相關(guān)經(jīng)驗(yàn)優(yōu)先。
6、有工業(yè)領(lǐng)域深度學(xué)習(xí)視覺(jué)檢測(cè)項(xiàng)目落地經(jīng)驗(yàn)優(yōu)先。
