SUMMARY: Support the commercialization of advanced mm-wave antenna opportunities through antenna design, manufacturing, and testing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1 Work with marketing, prototyping, assembly, and operations to develop wholly optimized antenna solutions. 2 Lead the execution of electromagnetic and antenna design activity. 3Establish product tolerances, and lead manufacturing tolerance analysis. 4 Simulate antenna arrays and electromagnetic structures using Ansys HFSS. 5 Prepare reference designs showcasing the benefits of new antenna solutions. 6 Produce technical reports to document key learnings from product development activity 7 Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in electromagnetics and 5+ years of industry experience -Experience with the design, fabrication and testing of 2D/3D Antennas, preferably at mmWave frequencies. -Experience with the design of microwave circuits using specialty PCB materials, preferably at mmWave frequencies. -Superb written and verbal communications skills. -Proficiency with Ansys HFSS simulation. -Proficiency with MatLab coding. -Proficiency with RF design optimizations. -Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for rapid results. Preferred -Ph.D. in electromagnetics, with experience in antenna design at mmWave frequencies. -Experience in novel techniques for design acceleration – genetic algorithms, artificial intelligence, etc. -Experience with designs of material-based antennas and devices. -Patents or published literature is a plus -Knowledge of antenna testing, RF device testing and Network analyzer equipment.
