Responsibilities - Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the tax returns and schedules prepared in a timely manner - Collection, preparation and analysis of financial data, legal documents and other relevant info required for regular local tax filings/export refund application/tax audits and any other statutory requirements. - Finish preparing and submitting tax account reconciliation on monthly/quarterly basis. - Prepare/support annual CIT return filings and S2T/RTA. - Assist with all tax operational matters, design SOPs and identify any compliance issues. - Escalate matters to tax operations leader for advice and resolution. - Provide audit support or support to other ad hoc projects as required. - Maintain good relationship with tax bureau, including travelling to present at tax office Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. - Knowledgeable of intermediate to advance MS Excel (and Access) are required skills. - 5 years of work experience of China tax and tax accounting in large multinational/Big 4 or Shared Service Centre. - Good communication skills and working knowledge in a multinational environment. - Good analytical skills and ability to technically discuss with local tax officer/regional business controllers, country leader where necessary. - Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics. - Written and verbal fluency in English. - Flexible approach with a strong team spirit.
