【Function】:AFC Ops, Wholesale Banking 【Main Responsibilities】: 1) Ensure the timely completion of all investigations assigned, WLM alerts within SLA and in compliance with the guidelines issued by Compliance 2) Review and assess the financial crimes risk exposure of Group Wholesale Banking AML/CFT and Sanctions procedural manual to ensure relevance with Compliance guidelines at all times 3) Ensure all audit findings raised are review, address and rectified accordingly 4) Review material adverse news memos and customer relationship review reports prior to escalation for Head AFC Ops concurrence. 5) To assist in the preparation, review and implementation of training materials with accuracy and in sync with Compliance guidelines on financial crimes matters. Where need be, to conduct such trainings as and when required to the respective Business Units within Wholesale Banking 6) To work in tandem with the Head of AFC Ops in development of the team in areas of technical and soft skills for exposure and career progression 7) Participate and represent AFC Ops in any Financial Crimes Risk and Sanctions related ad-hoc projects and committees, as and when required 【Job Requirements】: 1) Recognised degree holder with demonstrable years of relevant experience in financial crime investigations handling 2) A strong track record in risk and regulatory matters pertaining to financial crimes risk and typologies in identifying areas or instances of potential risks and to address these concerns appropriately 3) To demonstrate relevant experience in the management of people and relationships via supervisory experiences and proven leadership ability. Including the skills to develop and coach a team 4) Able to advise senior stakeholders with great skill and a level of confidence, knowledge and stature to provide advice in terms of outcomes arising from investigative findings 5) Strong at influencing thinking and behaviours align with the Bank's commitment against financial crimes, with the highest level of integrity and the ability to balance commercial objectives with the exercise of independent and prudent judgement 6) Able to raise sensitive or potentially contentious issues in a constructive manner to arrive at appropriate solutions 7) Self-driven and a team player with strong interpersonal skills to communicate, influence and negotiate
