An academic degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or computer science
Technical Skills
·An excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology and signal processing
· A high level of considerable experience (3-5 years) in:
o Topologies and operational modes of automotive radar systems
o Radar signal processing in multi-channel, multi-target applications
o Numerical computer simulation tools for signal processing (e.g. MATLAB incl. Toolboxes)
o Embedded software development and integration of signal processing algorithms in heterogeneous multi-processor environments
o Real time operating systems in multicore environments
o General understanding of embedded system architectures
· The following experiences are considered as strong asset:
o Basics in automotive electronics development
o Basics in microwave circuit and antenna design
o Basics in semiconductor technology for microwave applications
o Basics in AUTOSAR and vehicle network / bus standards
o Basics in coding standards (MISRA-C)
o Basics in requirements management tools (e.g. Telelogic DOORS)
o Basics in Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE (ISO/IEC15504)
Language Skill
· Fluent in English (written and spoken), German and / or French are considered as strong asset

Responsibilities
As a member of the Radar Accelerator team, you will develop and implement the embedded software and signal processing algorithms radar platforms. In addition to system software components, you will develop new radar signal processing methods and implement them in the target hardware.
· Cooperate with other engineering teams within the IEE group and technology suppliers
· Analyze the system specifications and manage the software requirements
· Define and implement the software architecture
· Develop and maintain the application framework, communication stacks and diagnostics
· Select and design appropriate radar signal processing methods according to system requirements
· Design and test radar signal processing algorithms and implement them into the target hardware
