What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
● Conduct economic research, analyzing rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment of various entities.
● Analyze profit and loss statements, presenting findings and recommendations to Pfizer management.
● Develop and maintain operational specifications for financial information systems, considering data processing requirements.
● Provide business development analysis, monitor business performance, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
● Execute budgeting and forecasting activities, prepare journal entries, management reports, and operations support presentations.
● Understand and apply best practices for data extraction and manipulation, supporting system access review processes.
● Participate in teams for the integration or separation of domestic acquisitions and divestitures, and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives.
● Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and financial reporting policies, and manage timelines for project scoping and delivery.
● Review financial reports for accuracy, contribute to project milestones, and support work transitions within Pfizer's finance organizations.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):
● BA/BS degree with any years of experience, or Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience
● Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis
● Proficiency in financial systems and reporting aspects
● Proven analytical skills to understand and interpret data effectively
● Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
● Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

● Experience in a Finance Center of Excellence
● Demonstrated ability to improve quality and processes in previous roles
● Excellent organizational skills
