Job Description: Senior Legal Counsel
Responsibility
This role will provide strategic counseling to Pfizer China’s Business Units and enabling functions, including to lead and drive BD transactions and strategic collaborations, navigate fast evolving regulatory regime to identity practical legal solutions, manage potential crisis and government inquires, and to handle complex disputes, arbitrations and litigations.
Qualifications
● Qualified lawyer with 8–12+ years of solid legal experience
● Experience gained at a top?tier law firm and/or a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company is strongly preferred
Experience and Skills
● Proven experience leading and advising on complex life sciences BD transactions, including strategic partnerships and collaborations
● In?depth understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical regulatory framework
● Strong capability to manage high?pressure, ambiguous, or contentious situations, including conflict resolution
● Demonstrated leadership and influence in cross?functional and matrixed environments
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills in both English and Chinese
● Solution?driven mindset, strong strategic thinking, and ability to learn quickly in a fast?moving environment
● Collaborative team player with a strong “one?team” mindset
