1.Study metal part (Connector contact, terminal) product drawing, then provide DFM feedback and estimated stamping die cost to product engineer during new product development period; 2.Review progressive Stamping die design from suppliers, review Stamping die development plan, check stamping die design feasibility and work out stamping die design optimization solutions ; 3.Complete FAI qualification to new stamped product . 4.Be familiar with progressive stamping die design structure and material ; 5.Understand key technical parameters affected for stamping quality, like stamping speed, punching orientation , stamping machine ton requirements , etc. 6.Be able to evaluate and audit stamping die supplier design & manufacturing capability and work with suppliers stamping die engineer to resolve quality issues during product development and stamping die design, development and trial run.
