Reporting line: China Manager
Main responsibilities:
? Secure competitive ocean freight rates and negotiate terms with carriers and service providers.
? Provide accurate pricing quotations and determine target prices in collaboration with the sales team.
? Benchmark rates against industry standards to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
? Maintain and update a comprehensive database of current rates for various routes and services.
? Coordinate with the sales team to book obtained rates and ensure they reflect current market conditions.
