KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Report to Hong Kong based Asia Controller and collaborate with the Asia teams (both internal and external) on corporate account payables at regional level (covering Australia, Japan, Korea, China, India and Singapore)
? Provide coaching to Shanghai based AP accountant and manage India outsourced vendors on regional AP deliverables
? Assist regional month-end process, mainly on BU reclass and ledgers maintenance
? Assist Finance related systems maintenance (Workday routing, Tableau & Appzen, etc).
? China specific:
o Manage statutory audits & corporate tax filings
o Streamline VAT reconciliating and reporting process
o Assist any local Finance-related requirements
o First point of contact for Tax Authority and local banks
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Degree holder, CPA qualification, and 3+ years of post-qualification experience
? Corporate finance experience is a plus (non-FI candidates are also welcome)
? Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple work streams and work products
? Able to synthesize information and provide an opinion based on understanding.
? Can identify and anticipate issues and think through those issues independently, utilize resources at disposal, and suggest solutions. Drives resolution of issues.
? Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle a wide range of ad-hoc tasks under deadlines
? Collaborative and effective at building relationships with colleagues across different teams and offices
