Your Responsibilities:
1. Conduct evolution analysis for both new and exist equipment to meet new project requirement, ensure machine compatibility with future demands, minimize retrofitting costs, and extend asset lifecycle efficiency.
2. Define new equipment specification for upcoming products and technologies
3. Lead equipment automation development in the plant to reduce human error, lower labor costs and enable flexible production scheduling for high-mix manufacturing.
4. Support production department in problems solving of key quality and process issue to reduce scrap rates, stabilize yield performance, and enhance customer satisfaction through reliable output.
5. Define and design equipment digitalization system to unlock data-drive operational insights.
6. Define and plan MES/AES system optimization for equipment and process enhancements.
7. Define and plan Equipment modifications, reliability improvements, and cost reduction programs to extend equipment lifespan, achieve annual cost-saving target, and improve operational sustainability.
8. Setup and plan for the equipment digitalization transformation strategy and deployment, commit to achieve customer’s smart manufacturing specification and AT&S smart manufacturing requirement
9. Responsible for equipment lifecycle management.
10. Team leadership to foster culture of continuous improvement, system integration and standardization
11. Define and implement systematic improvement guideline for engineer skill competence development.
12. Support NPI qualification process; maintain product quality consistency during ramp-up phases.
13. Support Technology department for new technology / product realization.
14. Guideline for engineer training, qualification, and career development.
15. Cross function, department and plant support and sharing.
16. Setup and develop system to achieve industry 4.0 objectives.
Your Profile:
1. Technical Background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering required
2. Bachelor degree of above in mechanical, electrical, chemistry, physics or process engineering.
3. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
4. Self-motivated ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
5. Extensive and professional experience in related industry advantageous.
6. Have basic written and oral English skills.
7. Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel, SAP, MES).
8. Good stress management skills.
9. Integrated and Interdisciplinary thinking and acting.
10. Proficiency in project management.
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
12. Familiar with IATF16949 requirement.
13. Knowledge of quality tools, such as FMEA, CP, SPC, MSA.
