責描述:1、研究各國教育體系和教育制度,熟悉主要國家音樂類大學/學院或綜合類大學音樂學院/專業(yè)申請程序和要求。對具體學校的專業(yè)信息、大學排名、入學要求與申請程序等進行深入學習和了解。掌握與海外留學業(yè)務有關的各種知識,尤其是學生主要留學目標國的大學申請知識。2、與境外大學招生負責部門建立聯(lián)系,定期更新相關政策并形成指引性材料。3、建立學校的升學準備計劃,籌備相關準備工作,包括學科選擇以及相關社會實踐活動等。4、以小型講座、一對一輔導等形式,讓學生以及家長充分認識目標學校的教育情況以及教學體系,以便學生家長更好的確定學生留學目標。5、根據(jù)學生各自的特點,定期對學生進行升學指導,指導學生的大學申請各項相關工作。6、負責學生的大學申請工作及文書修改指導。提升學生大學所需相關技能,如個人陳述,自我介紹等等,幫助學生準備TOEFL、IELTS、SAT等升學相關考試。幫助學生完成學校推薦信。7、兼任2-3名學生導師工作及其他與招生、升學相關工作。8、與學生及家長討論大學申請,并幫助完成、完善合理的申請名單,提供指定學校的各項招生機會信息,并提供資源和機會,幫助家庭了解不同的學校及時向學生通知最近來訪的大學、活動及大學展、接待活動以及截止日期、獎學金和考試信息。9、指導學生填寫申請:美國通用申請、加州大學、英國 UCAS系統(tǒng)及其他國家或地區(qū)申請系統(tǒng)、獎學金/經(jīng)濟援助、資產(chǎn)證明等信息。10、準備學生的成績報告并發(fā)送給大學(在學生的申請下)·適時為學生提供寫作良好的推薦信,在信中積極地并且誠實地描述學生,并著重于書寫學生的優(yōu)勢及成長·按時向大學發(fā)送學生的周期性、年中及最終成績報告(在學生的申請下)。申請經(jīng)濟援助:根據(jù)需要完成聯(lián)邦學生援助免費申請(FAFSA)和/或 CSS資料表。研究你申請的學校提供的任何額外的經(jīng)濟援助機會。研究并申請獎學金:尋找各種組織、基金會或學校自身提供的獎學金,并根據(jù)需要提交申請。準備面試:有些學校可能要求或提供申請過程中的可選面試。練習你的面試技巧,并準備好討論你的經(jīng)歷、興趣和未來目標。審核錄取決定:隨著決定的到來,評估你的錄取情況和任何提供的經(jīng)濟援助套餐。如果被列入等待名單,按照學校的指示進行操作,并考慮在被要求的情況下提交額外的材料。比較經(jīng)濟援助套餐:審查并比較已接受你的學校提供的經(jīng)濟援助提供。做出決定:選擇最符合你的學術、經(jīng)濟和個人需求的大學。通知你選擇的大學:通過提交押金確認你的入學,并通知其他你已決定不去的大學。任職要求:1、熱愛教學工作,有教育情懷,做到以學生的學習為中心進行教學管理。2、碩士或以上學歷,音樂類專業(yè)海外留學經(jīng)歷。3、具備3年及以上國際學校升學指導相關工作經(jīng)驗。4、英語作為辦公語言聽、說、讀、寫熟練掌握,精通辦公軟件使用。5、良好的溝通能力和服務意識,有責任感,踏實、認真、細致、做事有條理。6、具備獨立思考和解決問題的能力,具備一定的承壓能力,良好的專業(yè)基礎
升學指導Position: University Admissions Guidance CounselorJob Responsibilities:1.Research education systems and policies in various countries; be familiar with the application procedures and requirements for music-related universities/colleges or music departments in major destination countries. Study in depth the program details, university rankings, admission requirements, and application processes of specific schools. Acquire extensive knowledge related to overseas study services, especially university application processes for the primary target countries of the students.2.Establish connections with admissions departments of overseas universities, regularly update relevant policies, and prepare guidance materials.3.Develop the school’s college preparation plan, including subject selection and relevant extracurricular/social practice activities.4.Deliver small-group seminars and one-on-one counseling sessions to help students and parents fully understand the educational systems and academic environments of target universities, enabling them to better determine their study abroad goals.5.Provide regular university application guidance tailored to each student’s characteristics, supporting all aspects of the application process.6.Oversee university application work, including guidance on essay writing and revisions. Help students improve essential skills for university admission, such as writing personal statements and self-introductions. Assist students in preparing for admission-related exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and SAT, and in completing recommendation letters.7.Serve as an academic mentor for 2–3 students and handle the duties related to admissions and college counseling.8.Discuss university application plans with students and parents, finalize reasonable school lists, provide information about admission opportunities at specific institutions, and share resources to help families understand various options. Keep students informed of visiting universities, fairs, receptions, deadlines, scholarships, and test dates.9.Guide students in completing applications for systems such as the Common Application, University of California application, UCAS (UK), and other countries’ or regions’ systems, as well as scholarship/financial aid applications, proof of funds, and other required documentation.10.Prepare and send academic transcripts to universities (upon the student’s request). Provide timely, well-written recommendation letters that highlight the student’s strengths and growth. Send periodic, mid-year, and final grade reports to universities as required. Assist with financial aid applications, including FAFSA and/or CSS Profile, as well as researching and applying for scholarships from institutions, foundations, and other organizations.11.Prepare students for interviews by practicing techniques and helping them articulate their experiences, interests, and future goals.12.Review admission decisions, evaluate financial aid packages, and, if waitlisted, follow the institution’s instructions, including submitting additional materials if needed. Compare aid offers, make final enrollment decisions, confirm acceptance with deposits, and notify other institutions of the decision not to attend.Requirements:1.Passionate about education, with a student-centered teaching and guidance philosophy.2.Master’s degree or above, preferably in a music-related field, with overseas study experience.3.At least three years of relevant experience in university admissions counseling at an international school.4.Proficient in English for professional communication (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and skilled in office software.5.Strong communication skills, service-minded, responsible, diligent, detail-oriented, and well-organized.6.Capable of independent thinking and problem-solving, able to work under pressure, with a solid professional foundation.
