Primary Summary:
- This role primarily focuses on identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients to achieve sales revenue and growth in line with team and individual targets. Additionally, it entails 25% responsibility for coordinating customer sales orders (including contract sales, spare parts, and warranty orders), shipping, and invoicing processes to ensure seamless after-sales support.
Responsibility:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of tna's products, services, new product lines, and upgrades to effectively promote and sell to clients.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities with new and existing clients in both existing industries and new target markets, aligning tna's product lines with client needs.
- Coordinate sales promotion, lead generation activities, and other marketing initiatives to drive brand visibility and customer acquisition.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships, negotiate sales terms, and provide ongoing post-sales support to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies (including annual business plans) to grow sales of tna's equipment and meet team/individual sales targets.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers to address specific client requirements, ensuring product adaptability to meet custom specifications.
- Work with the Engineers and Project Management Team to confirm client requirements, installation timelines, and adherence to tna's practices.
- Liaise with Technical Support to ensure client satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle (from installation and commissioning to maintenance).
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends to inform sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions (including some weekends) to showcase products and generate leads, with 50% travel (local and overseas) as required.
- Attend to client inquiries regarding spare parts, warranty orders, service invoicing, and freight within designated timeframes.
- Coordinate the processing of spare parts and warranty orders, including loading orders into the ERP system, clarifying requirements with clients, logistics, and project teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely order administration for spare parts/warranty, including sending order confirmations or acknowledgements within 24 hours.
- Coordinate shipping of spare parts, ensuring compliance with destination country regulations, completion of shipping documentation, and on-time dispatch.
- Process invoices for spare parts and warranty services within 48 hours of dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
- Update shipment schedules and provide pre-alert notifications (with commercial documents and logistics details) to clients on the day of dispatch.
- Liaise with logistics teams, supply chain, and production managers to track order status, and communicate delays (if any) to clients promptly
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports on spare parts sales orders, open warranty contracts, and closure status to relevant managers.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales success in industrial machinery, special purpose equipment, or manufacturing sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating spare parts orders, shipping, and invoicing (preferably in a manufacturing or food/packaging industry).
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
- Exposure to the food or packaging industry is desirable.
- Understanding of credit management and export documentation (e.g., L/C, B/L) is a plus.
- Knowledge of sales strategies, manufacturing processes, and industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with spare parts management, warranty procedures, and export documentation requirements.
- Understanding of MRP stock control procedures is advantageous.
- Sales or marketing solutions and strategies to meet set targets/KPIs
- Sales skills: ability to overcome objections, align client needs with tna solutions, and close deals.
- Good in English, excellent communicator (written and verbal) and problem-solver
- Able to provide excellent customer experiences – building strong relationships
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, and driven to achieve targets.
- Valid driver’s license and car in good working order
- Prepared to travel at short notice, locally and overseas, including some weekends
