Primary Responsibilities
- Use established testing methods to identify and document software defects.
- Accurately execute all assigned test cases to evaluate game functionality, performance, and stability.
- Stay up to date on testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Enter detailed, clear, and concise bug reports into the bug database to assist developers in resolving issues.
- Analyze game performance metrics such as frame rates, load times, and memory usage to identify areas for optimization.
- Provide insights into the playability, balance, and overall experience of the game to support development decisions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, test plans, and test results for future reference and audits.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce complex bugs, provide additional context, and suggest potential solutions.
- Re-test fixed bugs with each release to ensure they have been resolved, and no new issues have been introduced.
- Work with customer success, development, and production teams to address player-reported issues and ensure alignment on game quality goals.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Job-Related Skills
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of quality assurance testing experience and/or experience troubleshooting PC/Console Games (internship experience is acceptable).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to clearly document findings and provide feedback to level appropriate audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a sense of ownership over assigned duties.
- Positive attitude along with flexibility, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Passion for video games and an understanding of gaming mechanics and player behaviors.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime during peak periods, including weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong familiarity with PCs and various gaming consoles, including handheld gaming devices; familiarity with debugging tools and processes is a plus.
- Computer literacy with strong proficiency in tools such as MS Word, Outlook, G Suite, and Database Software for documentation and communication.
