About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive mobile OEM partnerships in China for an India-based content aggregation app. This role will focus on onboarding leading Chinese mobile OEMs (such as Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Transsion, etc.), enabling content distribution, and driving user growth through pre-installs, app placements, and system-level integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop Strategic Partnerships – Identify, negotiate, and establish relationships with mobile OEMs, app stores, and ecosystem partners to expand market reach.
? Content Distribution & Growth Strategy – Secure pre-install deals, native integrations, and featured placements with key smartphone brands.
? Revenue & Monetization – Drive monetization through advertising, revenue-sharing models, and strategic alliances with OEMs.
? Market Expansion & Competitive Analysis – Keep track of industry trends, competitor strategies, and user behavior insights to identify new opportunities.
? Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with product, content, and marketing teams to enhance distribution strategies and user engagement.
? Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to Chinese digital policies and OEM platform guidelines for smooth business operations.
Key Requirements:
? 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within the mobile OEM, digital content, or app ecosystem.
? Strong network and relationships with key Chinese mobile OEMs (Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Transsion, etc.).
? Understanding of content distribution models, mobile app monetization, and digital media strategies.
? Experience in negotiating pre-load agreements, system app integrations, and revenue-sharing partnerships.
? Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to manage local and global stakeholders.
? Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
? Knowledge of China’s digital ecosystem, mobile trends, and regulatory landscape is a plus.
