Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or security management roles within multinational companies/consulting/project management firms. Experience in handling sensitive data and implementing measures to protect personal information under Chinese PIPL. Written English proficiency is mandatory.
Preferred Skillset:
Possession of CIPP/EU, CIPP/CN, CIPM, CIPP/T, CISP, or other officially recognized and internationally accredited privacy certifications is highly preferred. Preference will also be given to those with certifications specific to Chinese data protection or privacy law. Master's degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution, with special emphasis on law, information security, or data governance. A focus on Chinese law or international law with a concentration on Chinese regulations would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to decipher complex legal texts and regulations, particularly those related to Chinese PIPL. Working knowledge of data protection technologies and tools is preferred Ability to develop, implement, and manage effective data compliance programs. Proven track record of advising on and managing compliance with data protection laws. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
