Position: Supply Chain Export (“IRF”) Flow Readiness Specialist
Task description:
The Supply Chain Export Flow Readiness Specialist (PM) will work for the China Supply Chain - Export Components (“IRF”) department to manage the start-up activities necessary for new production components to be purchased in China and resold to the many Stellantis plants (Plants) around the world. The PM will manage and coordinate different supporting departments (incl. Purchasing, Finance, Logistic Engineering, Operations etc.) as well as Plants and Supply Chain colleagues in other countries to ensure that all the steps required to start shipping a new component are completed in time (incl.logistic solution and pricing definition and approval, Supplier readiness, tooling readiness if required, SAP system
information maintenance etc.), then finally handover the new component daily order fulfillment to the Operation team.
Additionally, the Flow Readiness will manage and coordinate other departments to ensure resolution of any commercial or systematical issue related to current components. The main recurring tasks are summed up below:
1. Receive and validate requests for new components from Plants, including but not limited to: complete volume and
timing information; correct and active Part number; component(s) eligible to be managed through China.
2. Coordinate purchasing and sales price quotations
a. Coordinate Purchasing, China Suppliers and the other Supply Chain departments to receive and validate the component commercial and logistic (incl. packaging, delivery, customs) solution, as well as any new manufacturing tooling requirement if needed.
b. Coordinate Finance department to finalize the component sales price and share it with the Plant.
c. Obtain sales price confirmation and authorization to proceed from the Plant.
3. Readiness management
a. Coordinate Legal department and Plant to ensure sales contract is in place (for new Plants).
b. Ensure systematic information in SAP system are received and process them in time.
c. Ensure that Purchasing department issues PO to Supplier.
d. Ensure the Operations department maintains logistics information in SAP system.
e. Coordinate all supporting functions and Supplier to ensure the first shipment(s) is delivered on time.
f. Finally, hand over the management of daily order fulfillment to the Operations team.
4. Problem management
a. Analyze and propose resolution strategy for commercial, legal, systematic issues where Program
Management support is needed, working with supporting departments and with colleagues in other countries as needed.
b. Proactively escalate issues as necessary within the PM department and with other functional departments.
Main Targets:
i.Ensure all requests are priced in time (within 8 weeks).
ii.Ensure parts readiness is performed on time (1 week after price confirmation).
iii.Ensure all first time shipments are sent out in time (depending on required delivery date).
Requirements
i.Minimum two years’ experience in supply chain management
ii.Language: fluent English – writing and speaking; Italian or French is desirable.
iii.Computer skills: MS Office, data analysis and management; Business intelligence tools are a plus.
iv.Social skills and competences: Proactivity, open mindedness, team working, problem solving, analytical skills, communication skills, negotiation & conflict management
v.Education: Bachelor Degree; Master’s Degree is desirable. Engineering background is preferable.
