Key Responsibilities
? Provide technical support to cross-function, inc. product management, purchasing, quality and sales etc.
? Support purchasing in potential suppliers’ audit and validation
? Approve designs developed through suppliers
? Implement drawing approval, control and documentation
? Document and approve any supplier deviations
? Review validation testing as part of the design approval.
? Support the quality team on technical issues.
? Approve PPAP samples and documentation.
? Store approval documents
? Support Quality and Warranty groups with failure analysis
? Support suppliers with technical issues.

Qualifications (Education/ Experience/ Key Competencies)
? Bachelor's Degree in engineering, prefer in CTOH commercial engine industry
? More than 5 years’ experience in product development, with commercial engine/automotive industry components product experience is a plus
? Experience in design of automotive or diesel engine components is preferred.
? Knowledge of diesel engine is preferred, with engine main components development experience
? Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, practices and processes.
? Strong written and oral communications skills to include presentation skills.
? Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information with all levels of employees and groups.
? Self motivated and can work independently.
? Possess basic project management skills.
? Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, GT&T, FMEA and failure analysis.
? Analytical trouble shooting and problem solving (root cause analysis, effective problem solving, etc.).
? Ability to closely examine and visually inspect parts and data.
? Excellent computer skills to include knowledge of MS Office, Filemaker Pro, NX CAD software
? Writes business correspondence, technical specifications, test reports, etc.
