Responsibilities ● Member of the agile project team, ensuring efficient and effective end to end project delivery to meet Big Data strategy and client expectations ● Business requirement analysis, talk with local BU regarding business requirement analysis and help to shape the data offer in some degree. ● Application design, software development, most of time involve in hands-on activity for development and troubleshooting/performance tuning etc. ● Supports Offerings development team to build out new capabilities leveraging BDF component/technologies to address business objectives based on country data asset Requirements ● Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant discipline; ● Good oral and written English skills; ● Hands-on experience with Java/Python/Scala/Hadoop/Hive/Spark/SQL development with real project experiences. ● Hadoop development and implementation. ● Loading from disparate data sets. ● Pre-processing using Hive and Spark. ● Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop. ● Practical real project experiences on Scala/Java/JDK/Web Development ● Expertise on Data Warehouse methodology ● Machine Learning will be an added advantage ● Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle including continue integration with tools like Jenkins/JIRA and Agile methodology. ● Capable of taking charge of emergent tasks and delivering without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary, Patient, organized, detail-oriented
