As [GBS Purchasing Specialist, APAC], you will: ? Handle Indirect sourcing requests following global standard process. ? Select suppliers from existing panel or source new suppliers for bidding activity. ? Request for quotations and negotiate with suppliers for more competitive price or better payment terms to achieve saving target. ? Drafter purchasing contract when needed, review terms with stakeholder, legal, and supplier, go through the contract approval process. ? Cooperate with commodity to review and evaluate suppliers on regular basis to support active supplier panel maintenance. ? Resolve disputes between stakeholders and suppliers in terms of goods/service quality, delivery, payment, etc. ? Track in-process requisition from release through final approval and report out as needed.
What you will bring: ? College graduate or above. ? 1+ years’ experience in Purchasing department, or in BPO/SSC industry. ? Proficient English in speaking and writing, or other local language(s) for responsible country(s). ? Proficient MS-office skills, ERP experiences. ? Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills. ? Strong problem-solving skills. ? Ability to work under high pressure. Other skills that we would welcome: ? Indirect category knowledge and sourcing experience. ? Process improvement knowledge and experiences. ? Project management knowledge and experiences. ?
