Job Description
The FAE, as technical interface to the customer, understands the different technical requirements in various applications including Wind power, Solar, Energy Storage System, Industrial power supplies, EV charger, UPS, Drive system etc. Working closely together with customer and sales, FAE develops successful solution based on Semikron Danfoss power electronic products
Job Responsibilities
- Give technical support to customers in project early stage by promoting the right available product/solution/technology
- Provide technical service during project development and operation stages
- Support Sales in the customer technical discussion
- Work as technical interface to customers, collecting customer trends/needs/product ideas and feeding back to product marketing
- Support customers on using demo boards/application samples
- Give technical presentations to promote SDI solutions
- Create technical promotion materials (papers, ppt, articles)
- Document and pack up technical data to assure know-how sharing
Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree above in Electrical Engineering, Automation or an equivalent field
- 3-5 years working experience in Power supply or Semiconductor industries
- Understanding the switching power component MOSFET, IGBT etc. SiC MOSFET experience is a plus
- Good understanding of different topologies like half bridge, full bridge, 3-level
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Troubleshooting capability
- Team player, self-discipline, innovative and independent
