We specialize in high-speed test fixtures and test equipment which directly enable the evolution of the Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence sectors today. The Field Service Engineer provides onsite product deployment support (site assessments and installation), maintenance and troubleshooting services. From the site assessment visit, they will create and manage a project plan to ready the site for product installation. Once operational, they will recommend parts and service solutions to improve machine uptime, maintenance and operation. When not traveling, the Field Service Engineer will perform proactive sales and service tasks including, but not limited to, troubleshoot customer issues via telephone, email and online meetings, prepare spare parts quotes, order entry, and customer follow-up. Key Responsibilities · Travel to customer sites to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot MultiLane MSBU products · Help customers best utilize and leverage MultiLane software and hardware equipment · Organize and prioritize schedule in accordance with customer requirements to determine needs for immediate attention, onsite visits, and remote assistance · When required, enter parts orders, generate and follow-up parts quotes · Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to improve test methods and find resolution for problems Minimum Requirements · Must be willing to travel · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is highly preferred · Emphasis on Electronics and/or Telecom is a must · Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus · Knowledge of Linux/C++ is a plus · Experience with high-speed test equipment such as BERTs and Oscilloscopes is a plus · Experience developing control software for electrical test equipment is a plus · Experience with high-speed Ethernet, PCIe and USB PHY is a plus · Experience with fundamental electrical test equipment like multimeters, benchtop power supplies, solder station is a plus Additional Details · Willingness to travel to MultiLane HQ in Lebanon for training and corporate events is a plus
