This position is open for candidates based in other locations in China, but limited with Beijing, Shanghai and Jiangsu.
Purpose of the Role
Working with China BD head and management team to executing business development plans and strategies upon corporate strategy plan of 2027. In this role, she or he needs closely working with China management team, corporate functions, BD team and market head across markets to driving business development growth across markets (countries) independently for MNC and Chinese biotech clients. As a key member of BD group, she or he needs to escalate all potential issues which will potentially impact on the client’s satisfaction and existing account development in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
· Oversee the planning and implementation of business plans and strategies for the penetration of owned accounts/clients across markets.
· Provide comprehensive presentations skillset to all new principals in pursuit of new business.
· Coordinating Principal site visits and ensure successful meeting outcomes.
· Develop relationships with key accounts/clients to ensure timely delivery of RFQ proposal.
· Secure new principal relationships through the initiatives, using all available tools to network into and within principal companies.
· New Business Development account penetration within key accounts in assigned segments.
· Support needs of the Business Development Director and others.
· Prepare and finalize written proposal materials, including minutes, presentations, and reports requiring special workshops.
· Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities aligned with the Intelligence Services market segment
· Collaborate with company top executives to set business objectives and development goals
· Set up meetings with clients to deliver sales pitches and conduct sales of company products and services
· Ensure business processes and standards are in accordance with regulations and policies set by appropriate authorities
· Conduct negotiations to determine contract terms and ensure profitable deals
· Set and enforce customer service standards to ensure clients are satisfied with received products/services
· Develop and organize new business development initiatives including plan, organize, and implement short-term sales activities
· Collaborate with HQ for all client developments
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Major marketing or sales
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
· More than 10 sales experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical supply & logistic industry.
· Proficient with Microsoft Suit (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). · Knowledge of project management systems and processes strongly preferred
· Good English skills for oral, written as working languages
· Independent and self-motivated
· Good planning and prioritization for multiple tasks
ADVANTAGES TO HAVE
· Working from the pharmaceutical industry, and from clinical supply and logistics field will be plus
· Medium level of computer literacy, including word—processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases and the Internet
· Excellent prospecting, networking, persuasion, negotiation and closing skills
· Excellent communications skills, both written and oral (including presentations)
· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with people at all levels in a wide range of organizations
