Quality Planning:
1.Development and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan, as an integral part of the overall Project Plan.
2.Pursuing that lessons learned are used and collected; comparison of quality results to targets (functionality, time schedule).
3.Define 0-Mileage and Warranty Concept
4.Support of the PM in gathering all quality related costs for the calculation and budgetary purposes.
Monitor product development process:
1.Continuous quality reporting (System status sheet & ePSR), as part of Project Report, which must contain the implementation status of measures and results according Project Quality Plan. This includes relevant Q-data from disciplines / sub-projects, which may have a major influence on the success of the project.
2.Active support of the PM in quality related and safety relevant aspects (incl. System Eng., EE, ME and SW) during the development & launch process (internal, supplier and customer), acc. PLC.
3.Participation in all Project Gate Reviews and PACT Workshops.
4.Controlling / reviewing of project specific quality actions according Project Quality Plan; i.e. identification and tracking of process and product deviations before they affect the external customer.
5.Support of the prototypes release, by supervising that the requirements, fixed in the Project Quality Plan, are fulfilled.
Support product development process and Production launch & ramp up:
1.Pursuing (i.e. tracking, requesting,supporting, instructing), that the required methods in a project areimplemented correctly according to Project Plan / Project Quality Plan (this includes e.g. PLC Gates, status meetings, Knowledge Management, Project Risk Management, Object Reviews, statistical methods).
Support of Quality Engineers in the discipline projects / sub-projects - if available.
2.Support of the Quality Manager for Product in Production to assure a safe launch and required manufacturing quality (e.g. PPAP support by provision of the PSW file).
3.Interface to SQM concerning quality requirements of supplied parts. Involvement in the sourcing decision of supplied components (internal / external) (e.g. supporting the definition of Q-targets and necessary qualification measures).
Customer contact
1. Support in case of customer visits and customer audits on project level.
Validation Monitor
1.Align DV/PV test plan with project team and customer, and lead DV/PV failure analysis
2.Set up and monitor DV/PV environment test
Monthly Report Update
1.Collect warranty return data biweekly.
