Your profile:
· 5 – 10 years experiences in automotive industry as an engineering manager / lead engineer with significant experience in customer projects, having worked much at the customer interface
· Competence in automotive quality procedures, methods and tools (IATF 16949) incl. FMEA methods
· Competence in complete seat development and testing
· Knowledge in foam / trim / plastics and metals favorable
· University degree or comparable education with top grade
· Language skills: at least English and Chinese (German would be an advantage - but not a must); you have to be able to communicate in both languages (verbal and written).
· Open minded personality, willing to interact with people from different cultures and different professional backgrounds
Your task:
Be our lead engineer and face to the customer in China.
· Manage customer as well as supplier engineering communication and work at the interface to the project team in Germany
· Coordination of engineering related topics within the triangle of customer, production facility in China and project team in Germany Ensure proper change management between the parties named above
· Support design review and project meetings with customer and suppliers
· Support local management and customer liaison team in alignment with the German engineering team
