We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tooling / Industrialization technician to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Shop Floor Equipment. Job location: Tawazun Industrial Park – Abu Dhabi JOB REPONSABILITIES： ? Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues during production runs. ? Perform daily setup, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. ? Repair faulty tools and maintain optimal functionality based on manufacturer plans. ? Train production teams on basic tooling adjustment and maintenance. ? Design, assemble, and qualify production tools with ergonomics in mind. ? Design assembly tooling for prototypes and series production, ensuring adherence to specifications (safety, quality, cost, timing). ? Develop cost estimates and feasibility assessments for tooling projects. ? Oversee special machine builds to improve production efficiency. ? Maintain and enhance the performance of machinery and infrastructure. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external subcontractors. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS ? Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. ? Fluent in English and Mandarin (required); proficiency in Arabic or French is a plus. ? Solid understanding of mechanical, electromechanical, and automation systems. ? Proficient in 3D CAD design tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo…). ? Skilled in technical drafting, dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
