Requirements:
1)Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering.
2)3-5 years experience in new product development.
3)Strong experience in 3D CAD.
4)Knowledge of CREO and CAD software.
5)Experience in engineering documentation like, DFM/DFA, FMEA, Flow Chart, MIP, etc.
6)Strong understanding in manufacturing process such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, surface finishing, thermal engineering, laser cutting, rapid prototyping, consumer product assembly, etc.
7)Require demonstrated ability in mechanical part/assembly design.
8)Ability to work in team-based and multi-cultural environment.
9)Extremely strong analytical/logical problem solving skills.
10)Detail-minded and wiling to learn from new technology.
11)Passionate, adaptable, fast-response, comprehensive, self-motivating, independent, and sound leadership.
12)Ability to complete tasks under pressure and within a tight deadline.
13)Good command of written/spoken English and Mandarin.
14)Ability to create and review technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
1)As a proactive cross-functional teammate within teams & departments.
2)As a leading role of developer starting at the ID concept towards ramp phase.
3)As a key contact window with client ID/PD/Engineering.
4)Define and establish program engineering documents including:BOM;Process Flow Chart:2D/3D in product, tooling;Tooling DFM/Process DFA;MIP;SOP.
5)Define and implement DOE to tackle technical issues on tooling/material/product construction/geometry & aesthetic/process parameter.
6)Deliver up-to-date progress of development to PD Manager/EPM.
7)Manage on-line CAD database across client and company web servers like Agile, Pariah, Incline, FTP.
8)Intensive communication with tooling and material vendors to ensure on-time deliverables conform to specification and up-to-date revision.
9)Continually review product performance and process and when indicated makes recommendations within policy guidelines concerning product performance as reflected by accumulated data.
10)Manage customer failure analysis, corrective actions, and report root cause analysis.
11)Review in-process data from manufacturing processes and facilitate corrective and preventive actions as appropriate.
12)Summarize and present data to customers regarding manufacturing, vendor and field complaints. Make recommendations for engineering evaluation toward problem elimination.
13)Support IE team/NPI team/QE team in designing fixtures, tools, jigs, and inspection and test devices.
14)Conduct Tool Qualification/Line Qualification/Product Qualification as required.
