Primary Responsibilities: l Partner with NPI program manager and product manager on program scoping and status reporting l Work with global cross function teams to deliver the NPI (New Product Introduction) and TCO (Total Cost Out) programs of Energy storage and converter system on time. Own the technical tollgate reviews. l Lead the cross-function team, including EE, ME, FW design engineers, on design and qualification from concept design till mass production per new product introduction process. l Conduct competitor benchmarking, interpreting the market demand into technical requirements for new product development. l Work with system teams on industrial standard study, support to define product system specifications, design trade off, build validation test plan, arrange product & Process Qualification and safety/FCC certifications. l Work with QA and service team to fix issues in system test and in customer side. l Work with sourcing, quality and suppliers to ensure product cost, manufacturability and quality as contact window l Work with suppliers and improve their capability to meet Savant Power standards l Strong pipeline for NPI program manager or design manager l Effective communication with local and global teams during program execution. Proactively manage technical risks and communicates to stakeholders Qualifications Required: l Bachelor's degree and above, on Physics, Mechanic, Electronic, Communication, Automation etc. l Over 5 years engineering experience in consumer or industry electronics. l Over 3 years’ project management experience. l Fluent Chinese and English on both oral and written language. l Eager to initiate and drive changes cross different function teams; willing to take challenges and learn new knowledge. Desired l Over 3 years’ engineering experience in wireless communication, battery management system or inverter products is a plus. l Project management experience in home energy storage and conversion is better. l Electrical or electronics design / component background is desired l Familiar with Lean six sigma methodology is a plus l Familiar with electronic and mechanical system reliability analysis and design is a plus. l Familiar with UL and FCC certification of energy storage system for US market.
