1. Cost Time Quality balanced mechanical System according to the project targets.
o Development of a mechanical system according to the cost targets
o On Time development according to the approved target hours.
o Ensure the feasibility and target maturity level of the mechanical interfaces between all sub-systems according to the overall product requirements.
2. Ensure the required data quality standards (customer / ZKW) and the implementation of the overall defined product guidelines and standards.
3. Work assignment of design engineers according to workload and competences
4. Continuous improvement (Lessons learn/design guideline update/Intellectual property protection…)
5. Tracking of development hours and Concept compared to RFQ Status including proper documentation of changes along the project phases
Functional leadership tasks (Management Line):
1. Coordination of a cross site team of design engineers in order to develop and manage single or multiple variants. Pass the relevant project information to other team members through to regular meetings and coordinate design reviews.
2. Definition and tracking of design engineering tasks with internal departments, customers and suppliers
3. Attending customer engineering meetings and Perform styling, packaging & space studies
4. Coordinate sub systems interfaces to fulfill all mechanical requirements
5. Further detail tasks description is according to assigned role descriptions

Disciplinary leadership tasks (Legal Line):
1. Local labor law compliance (including worktime, vacation, working from home, travel approval etc.)
