Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
1. Lead end-to-end project execution for optical module development, including design, prototyping, validation, and mass production, with a strong focus on optical modules technology and process control.
2. Have insights of optical modules application in the market and drive innovation in the optical modules technology. Drive cost reduction and yield improvement initiatives.
3. Perform cost, size, and performance tradeoff analysis of different optical components and system configurations.
4. Interface with customers and stakeholders to align technical requirements and business goals.
5. Manage risks, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery within quality and cost targets.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, MSA, etc) and reliability testing (e.g., thermal, signal integrity).
Requirement：
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optoelectronics, or related field.
2. Experience:
1) 5+ years in optical module or high-speed PCB product development, with deep expertise in full processes.
2) must have direct, hands-on experience driving successful optical module projects, solving critical challenges and delivering manufacturable solutions.
3) Proficient in optical simulation tools, reliability tests and typical defects.
4) Proven success in improving optical module yield, reliability, and manufacturability (must provide concrete examples of past projects).
3. Skills:
1) Strong knowledge of optoelectronic components and packaging technologies.
2) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
3) Fluency in both English and Mandarin in oral and writing ability. Other languages are a plus for global teams.
4) Excellent project management and leadership skills (PMP or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus).
5) Own the full project lifecycle - from initial specifications to volume production.
6) Manage schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time delivery.
4. Preferred:
1) Experience in high-volume manufacturing
2) Knowledge of thermal management solutions for optical modules.
3) Expertise in SPC, DOE, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
