香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）是由香港中文大學(xué)與深圳大學(xué)，根據(jù)《中外合作辦學(xué)條例》而組建的從事高等教育研究的機(jī)構(gòu)。我們創(chuàng)辦香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）的目的有兩個(gè)方面，一方面，我們希望移植香港中文大學(xué)幾十年來(lái)成功的辦學(xué)模式到祖國(guó)內(nèi)地，這里包括優(yōu)秀的辦學(xué)理念，成熟的管理機(jī)制和嚴(yán)格的學(xué)術(shù)體系；另一方面，我們希望能為祖國(guó)內(nèi)地包括珠三角地區(qū)培養(yǎng)一批有國(guó)際視野的，有社會(huì)擔(dān)當(dāng)?shù)?，新一代?chuàng)新型專業(yè)人才。為國(guó)家和地區(qū)的經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展作出貢獻(xiàn)，為國(guó)家的高等教育改革作出貢獻(xiàn)，也為珠三角和香港地區(qū)的長(zhǎng)期穩(wěn)定發(fā)展作出貢獻(xiàn)。香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）實(shí)行理事會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下的校長(zhǎng)負(fù)責(zé)制。民主管理學(xué)校，充分尊重學(xué)術(shù)自由。繼承香港中文大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)傳統(tǒng)，結(jié)合傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代，融合中國(guó)與西方，實(shí)行中英雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)，書院制和通識(shí)教學(xué)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨領(lǐng)域，跨文化的創(chuàng)新型國(guó)際專業(yè)人才。CUHK seeks to enhance the well-being of citizens of Hong Kong, China as a whole, and the wider world community through teaching, research and public service.The establishment of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen[CUHK(SZ)] is an initiative to take this further by extending the CUHK core educational philosophy and values beyond Hong Kong, in order to contribute to higher education across the nation and to groom future generations of university graduates who are international in outlook, learned in the disciplines they follow, upright character, and committed to serving the needs of society. It is an endeavour that will have a profound impact on the training of top talents and on the educational reform in China, and to contribute to the long-term prosperity of Shenzhen, Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region.CUHK(SZ) was set up with staunch support from the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and with the participation of Shenzhen University as collaborative partner, as required by the State Regulations for Sino-foreign Co-operation in Running Schools.CUHK Degrees will be conferred on CUHK(SZ) students who have fulfilled the requirements of the respective academic programmes. In addition, Graduation Certificates will also be awarded to students who have completed their studies and met the graduation requirements stipulated by the State Ministry of Education(MoE).
