Primary responsibilities
? Initially under the guidance or instruction of an experienced Field Service team leader
? Install, repair, and maintain the wellhead at the well site. Perform valve repair, valve lubrication, and wellhead upgrading.
? Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
? Troubleshooting and problem solving of all valve and actuator issues
? Execution of risk assessments and hazard assessments on all related work-scopes;
? Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
?Conduct site/offshore surveys and produce detailed reports of the
equipment detailed above in accordance with the client and/or the
company’s requirements
? Responsible for storage and return of all materials, equipment and tooling from location
? Accept responsibility for well control as / where required
? Report to focal point on a regular basis
? Perform other related duties as assigned by wellsite teamleader
? Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
?At least 5 years of experience in a similar role of having worked with
repair, refurbishment, commissioning, troubleshooting of wellheads, X
Mas trees and pressure control and/or pressure containing equipment.
? Relevant technical certification or apprenticeship (e.g., Mechanical Engineering)
? Knowledge of API standards and OEM specifications.
? Offshore survival and medical certificates.
? Ability to work in challenging environments
? Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
? Ability to work independently and in high pressure environments.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
