Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s safety, occupational
health, and emergency management programs to ensure regulatory compliance and
alignment with corporate EHS standards.
- Establish, implement, and continuously
improve EHS management systems (e.g., S.A.F.E, ISO 14001).
- Participate develop
annual safety plans and monitor execution and performance.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard
identification, and closure of corrective actions.
- Organize and facilitate JSA, LOTO, SAFE
audit and other safety-critical activities.
- Oversee the safety performance of
mechanical equipment and automation production lines.
- Review and optimize machinery safety
design and safeguarding devices.
- Develop and manage EHS training programs
for employees, including new hire training and special operations training.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct
root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Organize emergency response planning and
drills.
- Review contractor safety qualifications
and ensure compliance with Permit to Work procedures.
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure
safe execution of work on site.
- Coordinate with government authorities
and support regulatory inspections and audits.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related
fields.
Experience
Over 10 years of EHS/Safety-related
experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role; experience in
manufacturing, mechanical equipment, or automated production preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and
industry standards; familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; skilled in machinery
safety and automation risk assessment; proficient in RCA, 5 Why, and Fishbone
Diagram.
Language & Other Skills
Fluent English communication (listening,
speaking, reading, writing); strong communication, coordination, and
problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Safety Engineer, NEBOSH, IOSH,
or other relevant certifications.
- Experience in multinational or
foreign-invested manufacturing companies.
